Gone are the days where everyone wants to look like something off Americas next top model, these days its the leaner more athletic look that women are looking for and striving to look like.
Enter “Bar-Belles” Cardiff’s first and only women’s only lifting club. Here at The Boat Shed Training Centre we have created this club to help you ladies out there learn how to lift with correct technique, sculpt the body you want and get you lifting some tin!
Its vitally important to incorporate strength training into your weekly routine and this is why this class has been built into our timetable. How many times have women been told that 10 mins on the treadmill, cross-trainer and rower 3 times a week is what you should be doing? Let me guess, been there, done that and got nowhere? No fear at The Boat Shed we will help you get the results you want by showing you the methods that work.
For the month of February we will be focusing on compound movements- The Deadlift, Squats + variations, Presses and Pulls.
2nd Feb- Deadlifts
9th Feb- Squats
16th Feb- Presses
23rd Feb- Pulls
